HabitBots is provided by Jozi Firecracker Factory LLC, an Oregon company ("we," "us" or "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use HabitBots.

What HabitBots does

HabitBots rewards good food and drink choices, and completed daily health challenges, by investing a small amount in US and world index funds each time. Fund prices come from third-party market data and may be delayed.

Play money

In Play money mode, your balances, investments and returns are for practice only. Play dollars have no cash value and can't be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged. No real securities are bought or sold, and Play money results don't predict what real investing would return.

Real investing

Real investing isn't available yet. When it launches, your investments will be held in an account in your name at a regulated brokerage, under that brokerage's own terms, which you'll be asked to accept separately. Switching between Play money and Real investing resets your balance to $0. Your history, streaks and badges carry over.

Your account

You must be at least 18 to use HabitBots. Keep your sign-in details private; you're responsible for everything that happens on your account. Please log only the choices and challenges you've actually completed.

Your wallet

Your wallet can hold up to $100 at any time. Each good choice or completed daily challenge moves a small amount from your wallet into your portfolio, and streaks can increase that amount up to 2x. If you delete an entry, the amount it invested goes back to your wallet.

Friends

Friends you accept can see your name, photo, streaks, challenge progress, duel scores and good choices, and can react to and comment on them. Please be kind. We may remove content, or close accounts, that harass or abuse others.

Shared food library

Custom foods and drinks you add are shared with all HabitBots users, without your name. Don't add anything offensive, misleading or personal.

Not professional advice

Nothing in HabitBots is financial, medical or nutritional advice. Calorie figures are estimates. Talk to a doctor before making significant changes to your diet, exercise or sleep.

Changes and closing your account

We may update these terms from time to time and will let you know about significant changes before they take effect. You can stop using HabitBots at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account by email.

Who built this

HabitBots is made by Jozi Firecracker Factory LLC, a design and product studio based in Portland, Oregon. For almost 20 years we've designed and built digital products for some of the most security-conscious companies on earth, including Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, BMW and New Relic. In that world, privacy reviews, security audits and "what happens if this goes wrong?" are part of every design decision, not an afterthought.

For most of that time, studios like ours made the websites, campaigns and digital experiences that pointed people toward someone else's product. AI has changed that. A small, senior team can now design, build and run real software of its own. So we're taking the craft we spent two decades applying for enterprise clients and pointing it at products of our own: tools that are delightful to use, honest about how they work, and held to the same security standards our biggest clients demand. We built HabitBots for our own habits first, and because it touches your money, we hold it to that standard.
